The Clover
What is the Clover Hammer Head?
The Clover Hammer Head is a new head plate that mounts to the top of a hydraulic breaker.
It consists of four pins which allows the operator to pick up the hydraulic hammer @ three different locations. Two of the three locations the head plate is @ a 10 degree angle allowing the hydraulic breaker to go to the left or to the right.
Why Clover Hammer Head?
The Irish clover is three sided just like the new Clover Hammer Head.
How does it benefit the operator ?
The operator now can pick up the hammer the conventional way, either straight, from the left or the right, which allows the chisel of the hammer to go parallel with the trench. This enables the operator to fracture the rock inline with the trench.
Also, by picking up the hammer by its sides, it will be at a 10 degree angle to the left or right thus allowing the operator to get a clean cut trench. This prevents trench blow outs and wastage from the topto the base of the trench that would occur do with a conventional hammer.
Do hydraulic hoses have to be changed every time I pick up the hammer?
No! The operator can unhook the hammer and change from the left to right position without unhooking the hoses. It is recommended to put swivels on your hoses allowing them to rotate freely, however is not a necessity.
